Below please find a list of awards for which you may recommend a person you feel is deserving of the Barony’s attention. This is for Baronial level awards only.
Service, Arts and Sciences, and Martial Prowess
◊Honey Bear (A thank you award, given to individuals both within and without the Barony for service. It is often the first award received by baronial members and is the most often given. A person may receive this more than once.)
◊Citizen of Small Gray Bear (Awarded to a gentle who resides outside the Barony, but has earned the Their Excellencies’ esteem by their deeds benefiting the Barony of Small Gray Bear and its people.)
◊Bear’s Heart (Awarded for extraordinary service to the Barony.)
♦The Order of the Bear’s Paw (Service – Those who served the Barony in an exceptional and consistent manner, making significant contributions by sharing knowledge and skills, assuming significant responsibilities, and participating in the work and fun associated with Baronial events, demos, and fund-raisers. This is a polling order. Though recommendations may be made to Their Excellencies by the populace.)
♦The Order of the Sword of Orion. (Martial Arts – Awarded to those who have distinguished themselves in the martial arts. This is a polling order. Though recommendations may be made to Their Excellencies by the populace.)
♦The Order of the Morning Star (A&S – Given to those who have distinguished themselves in the Arts and Sciences. This is a polling order. Though recommendations may be made to Their Excellencies by the populace.)
♥The Order of the Compass Rose (Given once per year to the gentle who, by word and action, best exemplify the ideals of the Society and the Barony through their Loyalty, Chivalry, and Grace. Induction to the Order is recognition of special dignity.) Traditionally given at Candlelight Camp.
♥The Order of the Silver Bear (Given to those who have shown love and dedication for the Barony above what is expected of a Baronial member. They have tirelessly given of themselves for the good of the Barony. They have contributed over a long period of years in multiple areas. It is likely that they will already be members of 2 to 3 of the Baronial Polling Orders {Bear’s Paw for service, and/or Morning Star for arts and sciences, and/or Sword of Orion for martial prowess}). This award can be given at any time, but is traditionally given at Brawl.
♥The Order of the Diamond Bear (Awarded once per year. An award of special distinction, granted to those who have served the Barony with the highest merit. With the permission of the Crown, and on recommendation of the Baronet, the Order may bear an Award of Arms. Those who bear this award in addition to an Award of Arms may process ahead of a simple Award of Arms. The Companions of the Order may place the initials C.D.B. after their names.) Traditionally awarded at Diamond Wars.

Silver Star (A&S Awarded to children/youth who distinguish themselves by their pursuit of learning and art.)
